48 obstacles over 12km

So you think once round the course is just not enough?  Test your limit and sign up for the option to take on two laps of this gruelling course which will see you getting 48 obstacles under your belt.

Marines Webbing Kit

Do it like a Commando

If you think you need more of a challenge you can pre-order a ‘Do it like a Commando’ kit which consists of 21lbs of marine webbing and a wooden rifle to carry round the course.

Still after more? We’ll give you a 35lbs Bergen ‘camo rucksack’ to wear around the course for the full experience. Over 16s only.


Why not immerse yourself in the experience and become a Commando for the weekend? Available Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November, places are limited so book early.

Commando 3hr survival experience: £45

Saturday 3-6pm, Sunday 2-5pm: This intensive three-hour course will teach you the rudiments of survival covering the following topics; fire making, shelter, water gathering, hunting and navigation. Our highly qualified Commando instructors will take you through your paces and teach you the basics and guiding principles of survival.

The Bivouac experience (authentic Commando camping): £35

Commando Series will offer the opportunity to camp in the castle grounds with a set up to mirror the real deal. For £35 per 2 man / or woman bivy you get to sleep on a roll mat, in a sleeping bag in a goretex bivy bag underneath a camouflaged tarpaulin. Don’t worry we won’t make you dig a latrine there are toilets on site.

1hr Survival Course on Event Day

This free drop-in course teaches the rudiments of survival including topics such as fire making, shelter, water and food gathering. 3 X 1hr slots on each day!

What to bring with you
  • trail shoes or boots with ankle support for the rough terrain
  • wooly hat
  • thermal base layer (long sleeves & leggings or combat trousers)
  • towel (warm showers provided)
  • full set of warm change of clothes
  • wet kit bag
