Commando Series: Training and Endurance Test
16/17 OCT 2021
What is Commando?

From the makers of the Castle Triathlon Series comes an exciting and authentic endurance course race

6km or 12km course complete with 24 (or 48) of the toughest obstacles straight out of the Commando test book, this is the only event that can recreate the mud, sweat and pain of modern day Royal Marines Commando training.

You can immerse yourself in the Commando world from the moment you arrive, and not only challenge yourself with the course, but take on a 3 hour survival experience in the castle grounds.

Spectators can also join in the fun; watching the action from the event village, enjoying the bar, climbing wall, live music and even visit the castle.

Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October.

Five reasons

why this is
ultimate challenge

No other event can link to the heritage and honour of the Royal Marines Commandos.

This is the only Obstacle Course Endurance Run built by the best for the rest.

From Commando wannabes to eight-year-olds racing with their folks, you can make it as difficult as you can handle.

Many of the 24 obstacles used are exact replicas from the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre at Lympstone in Devon.

One of the obstacles is called the Catacombs of Doom. 'Nuff said.

And while the Commando Series will test your limits, there are a number of difficulty levels here for everyone, from nervous mums and dads searching for something new to teens looking for bragging rights in the schoolyard on a Monday morning. So are you in touch with your inner Commando? Can you handle the same tests that the Commandos face when looking to make the grade? Does the idea of caves, muddy slides and suspended river crossings have you welling-up with excitement? WELL THEN, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

The Venue

The Commando Series will take place at stunning venues around the UK that ooze heritage and offer oodles of little seen private land.

With its historic story, unspoilt ancient woodland and newly discovered set of caves, Hever Castle in Kent is the natural first choice of a venue for the series.
